We're constantly exploring ways to bring people together, and a great way to do this in person rather than online is through community festivals. The general gist is to find a theme that inspires us and the community; invite people to participate in a series of activities on that theme; and then to work together to develop and promote the events. It's a way for us to get creative and explore ideas and themes, but also to meet and work alongside passionate people, and to be part of celebrations within the community.

These festivals need a lot of work, so we also like to support others putting on their own events. One way we do this is by bringing together events that share a common theme into a larger series of activities, as we did for Black History Month.

Here's what we've done so far this year, with massive thanks to Coline L'Achiver for the funky graphics and classy communications.
